Benvenuto!

scroll139.jpgHello! Welcome to my website and blog.

When used as an Italian idiom, per caso implies a wonderful process by which stuff comes together to create an opportunity that is seemingly by chance.

There are many other words… luck [when preparation meets opportunity]; courage [putting what’s important to you above your fear]; karma, destiny, fate….

I like these concepts because they encourage us to increase our awareness and live in the moment.Sig120

Please enjoy my site… it challenges me to acknowledge my courage and prepare for my luck!

(NAPA, CA, May 7, 2009)  Local artist and marketing professional, Katherine Zimmer, and her 78-year-old mom, Eva Stoddard, are pursuing Eva’s dreams together by launching Stars in Your Stomach, Chef Cosmo’s Planetary Cucina through chefcosmo.com.

“Originally the concept was a book that Mom has wanted to write for years,” says Zimmer.  Zimmer added that Eva, motivated to fill a huge gap in the world of astrological publishing, created the concept many years ago when she kept going into bookstores looking for this book and being disappointed at not finding it. Now it has evolved beyond the book with monthly horoscopes, a blog, and has future potential for companion products. And 10% of proceeds from subscriptions to the monthly horoscopes and chapters will benefit the Napa Valley Food Bank.

Stars in Your Stomach, Chef Cosmo’s Planetary Cucina celebrates our characteristic oddities through the humorous story of Chef Cosmo and his culinary accomplice, Signorina Leo who throw the party of a lifetime with their closest friends at her villa in Tuscany. Chef Cosmo allows us into his planetary cucina to bring insight to our relationship chefcosmo.comwith food and the food in our relationships.

“Creating a fictional character with an irreverent style who stirs up our astrological quirks with food is the perfect way to present what can sometimes end up being boring data in a reference book,” says Stoddard. Being grateful to have her life-long vision of food, astrology and travel come together in this fun experience, Eva adds, “This new idea can, with a meal and a laugh… hopefully in many Countries, hurdle language barriers, make friends and warm our hearts.”

Chef Cosmo isn’t resting on his culinary laurels… with the help of his personal assistant “Sous”, he’s Tweeting and Facebooking and connecting with culinary friends globally through his blog. For more information, visit chefcosmo.com.
